Design & Build Process:

Kitchen, basement and bathroom renovations are complex projects that often require an experienced professional. You have a Wishlist and we want to make it happen. Together we will explore creative solutions for the best use of your space.

We will make design recommendations and present you with options that incorporate your taste, style and budget.  

Initial Phone Call

We will schedule a brief phone call to talk about your project, anticipated budget range and start/finish dates. 

Tip: It is helpful to send us pictures and/or drawings and sketches that you may have, prior to our call. You can text or email them to us.

Home Visit

If we are both comfortable and feel that we may be a good fit for each other, we’ll schedule a visit to your home. 

When we meet in person, we will see the space and we’ll discuss design specifics and goals. We’ll learn about your needs, wants and wishes relating to the project. 

The Estimate

After our visit comes the Project Estimate and Letter of Agreement (PELOA).

It will give you a sense of what the project will cost, based on the initial site visit and based your expressed needs and wants. 

You are also provided with a payment schedule called Payment Summary Form. This details payment amounts, dates and descriptions.

Once the PELOA is signed and the initial payment is received, we advance to the next steps.

Next Steps

Using the information gathered at the home visit, we will create drawings and design options. 

We will talk to your township as necessary to identify restrictions and understand local codes.

We begin to apply for the appropriate permits and then schedule the project. 

This is where we narrow down design selections, materials, paint colors etc. We may even visit the stores together to go shopping.
